Breathe in the extraordinary

Extraordinary things happen on FireCreek Mountain. Everything about it--the land, the water, the trees, even the many quiet places, seem charged with heaven’s atmosphere and creative portals.

FireCreek Mountain is a fifty-eight acre mountain retreat brimming with lush natural beauty and inspiration. Located near the highest mountain peaks east of the Mississippi, FireCreek  is nestled in Yancey County, home to more artisans per capita than in any other county in the United States.

Revive your artistry in relational community

Being in a like-minded, inspiring, and encouraging community is crucial to an artist. FireCreek is designed to bring people together in many locales and many ways around the land--on the spacious porch that wraps around the main lodge, sharing a walk along a peaceful stream, or gathered around the wood stove on a cool, autumn evening. New friendships and life-giving connectivity just seem to happen here.

Dream and renew in mountain stillness

How long has it been since you dreamed to the tune of rustling trees and woke up creatively refreshed with nothing on your schedule but to let your artistry soar?

FireCreek Mountain offers three lodges, all reflective of true mountain hospitality and rustic comfort. Magnificent views and scrumptious meals enhance your days of being released in the art and creativity of heaven on FIreCreek Mountain.

Release the Art & Creativity of Heaven

The Fall Retreat at FireCreek Mountain is designed for artists of all levels and offers a unique and intimate setting for beginners and intermediate artists desiring to take their art to another level of creative and prophetic expression.  Each session is tailored for the specific needs of the participants.

Art instruction includes composition, mixing colors, and texturing as well as understanding the spiritual meaning of colors, objects, numbers, and scents as it relates to prophetic art and interpretation.

One-on-one instruction, impartation, critiquing and prayer are all important elements in the process of growing artistically and fulfilling God’s creative purposes in your life.
