Description:
Aim and Fire is a commissioned work I did to express one woman’s vision of the Warrior King Jesus on His galloping white horse with arrow drawn. As her vision progressed she understood that she was becoming the powerful arrow that Jesus was preparing to release. As I painted, I was reminded of Isaiah 49:2: “He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of His hand. He has made me a shining arrow, keeping me in His secret place.” As we abide in the Lord and are completely yielded to His will, WE become the arrow that He propels into our destiny.
