Breathless is a commissioned piece painted to express the life changing experience of a woman in a near fatal car wreck. She was transported into heaven where she witnessed many things that changed her time on earth forever. What impacted her the most was what she felt when she was in the Lord's presence: "He breathed life into me and at the same time He took my breath away!"
