Take Care of My People
A church leader recently commissioned me to paint a vision he had. In the vision, the Lord, represented by a Paint Horse, looked into his eyes and simply said, "Take care of my people."

Take Care of My People |
I love horses and I love to paint them, especially the horses I envision in the book of Revelation. But I knew very little about the Paint Horse. What I discovered about them put even greater meaning into the leader's vision.
Paint horses were the warhorses of the Indian. The unique splashes of colors on their bodies were naturally creative decorations for battle as well as celebration. Treasured and prized, they were quick of action and could transform to suit any surroundings in any season.
Just as every Paint Horse is unique, so God has uniquely designed leaders to take care of His people. They remain diligent in every season and have learned how to lead His people into battle. More importantly, they know how to lead the people in celebration and rejoice with them!
I am certain that when Jesus returns on a white horse, close by will be a Paint, wildly celebrating the return of his Master to earth! |

Every retreat is uniquely tailored to the participants. Depending on experience levels, instruction will include how to mix colors and prepare canvases, technique, composition, and texture. More advanced artists will be shown how to take their art into the market place. All participants learn the spiritual significance of colors and symbols, the blockages to their creativity and talents, and receive personal impartation to move into their creative calling.
