Living in the freedom of God's grace

Grace is God allowing us the freedom to live in His love and not by religious constraints. Grace gives us a safe place to grow and mature without the fear of abandonment in the midst of our most difficult trials. Even if we fall away for a season, God's grace restores us and assures us of our place in His heart forever.

free to LiveIn this painting, the woman victoriously holds her starfish. Starfish, or sea stars, are amazing creatures. If any of their five arms are lost to a predator, they miraculously regenerate stronger than before.

The five points of the starfish represent God's great grace. And just like the starfish, we have been designed through His love to regenerate and come through our woundings and brokenness stronger than before. He promises His peace and joy in every circumstance of our lives so that we will "shine like stars in the universe."

Just do it!

In my August 2007 newsletter I wrote about
a vision I had of pens shooting down from heaven like darts. The pens were a glowing luminescent blue, the color of revelation. Anyone could reach for the supernatural pens, but there were some who were wildly grabbing for all they could. Nothing was going to keep them from developing their creative giftings.

I have never before met so many who are so hungry to let their God-designed creative expression flow out of them. One stalwart, perservering young man has been at all three of my creativity workshops over the past six weeks. He says that each time he comes and prays to receive more of the creative anointing something deeper happens. A woman I met and prayed for at Patricia's King's Extreme Prophetic Conference in Phoenix back in May came by my art table this month in Phoenix and proudly showed me a handful of art works she had completed since that prayer of creative release.

How much do you want to move ahead in your creativity? Are you willing to persevere to see your giftings and talents go out and bless the world?
It will take more than just a prayer of release. You will have to find the time and the means to pursue it. It won't just happen.

I encourage you to pursue the creative expressions He has placed in your heart and spirit. The world won't be the same without them.

Art Retreat and Workshops

On the lake
Are you a frustrated artist doubting you have "what it takes" or are you actively engaged in art or another creative medium but want to release more prophetic expression through it? Then my Diamonds on the Lake Art Retreat may be perfect for you.

This retreat will provide instruction, release and impartation and a time for participants to simply "go for it" and tap into their prophetic potential and express its power in their lives. The setting is my home on beautiful Lake Oconee in White Plains, Georgia on October 23-26.  It's an idyllic refuge where the diamonds literally dance on the water and the presence of God surrounds you. Space is limited to 6-8 women.

Another opportunity to move ahead in your creativity is through one of my workshops. Each one is uniquely designed to fit the needs of your art group or church or conference. If you are interested in the retreat or would like to discuss hosting a workshop, please email me at janice@jvcartworks..com.
