Adorned with the crown

The Crown is a commissioned piece depicting the life changing, end-time vision God gave to a young woman named Marnie about a year before He called her home. Her vision was such a powerful prophecy of hope and destiny that it became the catalyst to transform her troubled life and bring her out of bondage. Three days before Marnie was suddenly taken home at age thirty-one, she The Crownspoke of how much she looked forward to receiving her crown.

Painting The Crown was a labor of love for me since Marnie's parents are dear friends and were at one time part of our BloodnFire church in Atlanta. The Lord led my brushstrokes to depict Marnie's life-changing, end-time vision and her heavenly inheritance.

He also had me paint a tiny sparrow flying against the backdrop of the purple mountain. Several times while retouching the piece, the sparrow was painted over but I always felt I needed to put it back in. I knew why when Marnie's mother told me this story when she saw the painting:

After her daughter's death a little sparrow flew into her patio window and laid helplessly bleeding with a broken neck. She picked up the dying sparrow and cradled it in her hands. Still feeling the intense grief of Marnie's death, she sobbed, crying out to the Lord to spare this little bird. After a few minutes she opened her hands and the bird, no longer bloody, turned his head and flew away!

The next day she again was struck with uncontrollable grief. The Lord spoke to her that the tears she shed yesterday were His tears for her and that He was healing her of the pain.

Here comes the Bride

Here Comes the Bride
Late spring and early summer always usher in a flurry of weddings. This also seems to be a season in God's calendar for many to experience a deeper revelation
and understanding of the Bride of Christ. I continue to hear touching stories of many who are having visions and dreams of dancing with Jesus.

As the end of the age nears, the Bride will begin to emerge in more and more glory. The Lord will not come until she is ready. But soon Jesus will celebrate His own wedding with His beautiful, perfected Bride.

Just as in the first miracle He performed at the wedding in Cana, the choicest wine will be saved to the end. Then it will be poured out and will flow freely across the universe at the greatest wedding celebration of all time.
