Life in the perfect shade of blue
I love to paint with shades of blue. Blue is the color of revelation and I know that every day I need the Father's fresh illumination in my life to be reminded of who I am in Him and what His purposes and destiny for my life are.
Creator of All
|
It's a funny thing about blue, though. It's become a color we use to describe both the good times, those happy days filled with blue skies; and those dark and depressed moments of our lives, when we are feeling "down and blue."
Every one of our days are painted in some shade of blue. But we make the choice how we will walk in them. Will we view our days and circumstances as a pathway to blue skies or as a trap door into darkness?
God, the Creator of All, has promised us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know Him better and understand this hope and future He has for each of us. We can begin to see our lives in His light and perspective. But, ultimately, it is left to us to bring heaven into every circumstance of our lives through our declarations of faith in Him and praise of Him. We choose, if you will, the shades of blue we will live in.
Times may be tough. Many around us may be "blue and depressed." But we can thrive in His revelation of never failing love and the grace to arrive safely and securely on the other side of intense storms and darkness into His perfect shade of blue. |
