The most photographed event in the entire world is the balloon festival in Albuquerque. The thought of riding in one evoked not only excitement but a tinge of fear. The colorful balloons represent the colors of the seven spirits of God as in Isaiah 11....the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, counsel and power, knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and the Spirit of the Lord. As our eyes are set on Him alone, He lifts us to higher places and brings an unimaginable peace and joy to our hearts. |
